Using Werner Syndrome and HGPS stem cell model to discover genoprotective compounds

We have established Werner Syndrome and HGPS pluripotens stem cell models (Nature 2011; Cell Stem Cell 2011; Science 2015; Cell 2016), with which we are able to study the disease mechanisms, identify new targets, and  screen for innovative drugs. So far, as a proof of concept, we have identified a panel of candidate compounds with the genoprotective potentials.
