The human Xist gene has emerged as a fundamental regulator of cell pluripotency, cancer and immune function. Xist RNA and drugs that target Xist function are therefore promising as interventions in aging and aging-related disease, including Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, cancer, diabetes, and autoimmune disease. Funding is sought to support business start-up, pre-clinical tests of Xist-targeted drugs, human data meta-analysis, and clinical trials.
