ASSESSMENT CONSULTATION

During the initial consultation at the Preventive Centre Zurich the specialist staff will assess the results of any previous examinations and take into account patient’s vaccination history. Then the specialists will discuss which preventive examinations should be carried out.

PREVENTIVE EXAMINATIONS

The Preventive Centre Zurich carries out the examinations recommended for the patient based on the current health, age and possible risk factors. These may include tests such as a colonoscopy, examinations of the heart and cardiovascular system, various kinds of cancer screening and, for women, a breast ultrasound. The examinations are individually tailored to the patient’s needs. There is no standard checkup.

POST-EXAMINATION CONSULTATION

After all the examinations have been completed the patient will be invited to the Preventive Centre Zurich for a post-examination consultation. Then the specialists will discuss the results and if necessary modify the way to look after patient’s health. A detailed written report is also available upon request.

FOLLOW-UP RECOMMENDATIONS

The specialists will create a personalised follow-up plan for the patient, so that they can monitor patient’s health in accordance with the relevant professional guidelines. This plan lists the recommended dates for future preventive examinations.
