Opko to Purchase Bio-Reference Labs in All-Stock Transaction June 04, 2015, 15:34

Opko Health Inc. said it will buy Bio-Reference Laboratories Inc. in an all-stock deal valued at about $1.47 billion.

Opko will give 2.75 shares for each share of Bio-Reference Labs, worth $52.58 a share for Bio-Reference Labs, it said in a statement. That’s a premium of about 60 percent to yesterday’s closing price in New York.
